Distribution of a total of 94 seats for Indian Nationals /OCI in: Anaesthesiology (06), Anatomy (02), Biochemistry (02), Blood Transfusion & Immuno Hematology (01), Community Medicine (03), Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology (03), Emergency Medicine (05), Forensic Medicine (02), General Medicine (10), Microbiology (04), Nuclear Medicine (02), Pathology (05), Pediatrics (07), Pharmacology (04), Physiology (02), Psychiatry (01), Pulmonary Medicine (02), Radio-diagnosis (04), Radiotherapy (04), General Surgery (08), Ostetrics & Gynaecology (08), Opththalmology (03), Orthopedic Surgery (03) and Oto-Rhino Laryngology (ENT) (03)

Distribution of a total 10 seats for Sponsored / Foreign Nationals in: Anaesthesiology (02), Blood Transfusion & Immuno Hematology (01), Pediatrics (01), Psychiatry (01), General Surgery (02), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (02) and Orthopedic Surgery (01)

Eligibility

Nationality: Applicant must be a Resident Indian National

For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI): OCI registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 are also eligible to appear in this test and all terms and conditions applicable for Indian Nationals given in this Prospectus will be applicable to them. The candidate should submit proof of Registration as OCI under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 at the time of counseling

Foreign Nationals (FN): Foreign candidates are required to route their application through the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi. All foreign nationals will have to take prior permission from the Medical Council of India before applying for postgraduate Courses in the Institute. In the events of selection, the candidate has to apply for temporary registration with the medical council of India for the duration of postgraduate study

Educational Qualification: The candidates must possess MBBS or an equivalent Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India

Experience: A candidate must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship/Practical training on or before 30th June 2015 (*Candidates not completing the internship on or before 30th June 2015 need not apply for July 2015 session. No condonation of Compulsory Rotating Internship beyond this date shall be accepted)

Duration of Course (MD / M.S Course): Three years (03) 01st July 2015 to 30th June 2018

Method of Selection: All the 104 seats would be filled through Competitive Entrance

Read the prospectus and instruction carefully

The candidate should acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to filling up the application online

Mode of Payment: Only through Net-Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card Payment through computer generated challan form in any branch of State Bank of India. The candidate is advised to read the prospectus and instructions before starting online registration

Application Fee: Rs.1000/- for UR/OBC/Sponsored candidates and Rs.800/- for SC/ST/OPH

Note: The candidate is advised to read the prospectus and help manual before starting online registration and ensure that no column is left blank. Request for rectification of any error committed in the application will NOT be considered. Fees will not be refunded
