BHU PMT 2015 Application Form

Banaras Hindu University will admit candidates in medical UG Medical program such as MBBS & BDS for session 2015-16 under the admission program “BHU PMT 2015 Admissions”. Admissions shall be made on the basis of score in All India Pre-Medical Test 2015. To apply for the admissions in BHU, candidates have to fill the BHU PMT 2015 Application Form. The form must be filled with correct and complete information; else it would be rejected in the screening process. You must proceed to fill the form only after ensuring that all the terms of eligibility has been met. Read the following article for more information on application form, fee and payment modes.

Schedule of Application Form

  • Application form shall be released for admission in MBBS/BDS program on 28 March 2015.
  • Last date to submit the form would be 30 April 2015.

Eligibility:
Only those candidates, who satisfy or likely to satisfy the following relevant eligibility requirements for admission to Post Graduate courses will be considered eligible to appear for the BLDEU-PGET-2015 and subsequently for admission to the course.
Eligibility requirements to appear for BLDEU-PGET-2015 and admission to the medical Post Graduate Diploma and Degree Courses are:-
  1. The candidates seeking admission to these courses should have passed MBBS from the college recognized by Medical Council of India.
  2. As specified by Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be:
  • General category 50 percent
  • SC/ ST & OBC (OBC as declared by Government of Karnataka from time to time) Category 40 percent
  • Candidates with 40 to 70% locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority) category 45 percent.
  1. The candidate should have completed the compulsory rotating internship / would be completing.
  2. Foreign / PIO / NRI students are exempted from BLDEU-PGET-2015. Their admission will be based on qualifying examination marks.
How to Apply:
Application forms can be downloaded from our website. Relevant information and data entry is to be made in the online application format by the candidate before generating the application form. Hard copy of the generated application form along with relevant enclosures should be sent to the University.
Note: provision for online submission of application is not available.
Instructions to candidates for filling the application form.
  1. Ensure that a) Demand Draft for Rs 4,000/- is drawn in favour of The Registrar, BLDEUniversity, Bijapur-586103 b) Ensure that the D.D is payable at Bijapur-586103, Karnataka State. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, even if the application is rejected for any reasons (because of incomplete information or ineligibility of the candidate) or if the candidate does not appear for the Entrance Test.
  2. To generate the application form, Data Entry has to be made properly and completely, as this data form University data base and will be considered as final record.
  3. The completed application form must have the signature of the candidate, left thumb impression, signature of candidate’s parent/guardian and authentication by a Gazetted Officer / Head of the Institute where the candidate has completed his/her M.B.B.S degree/
  4. Do not send any ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS along with the application form.
  5. Affix your recent (not older than six months) color photograph in the space provided.
  6. Photographs should be of passport size, sharp and clear.
  7. Candidate, who regularly wears spectacles, shall send his photograph wearing spectacle.
  8. Person should not wear Goggle, Cap etc which will mask identity. Application with smudged / tampered or hazy photograph will be rejected
  9. Photograph should not be stapled or pinned on the application form.
  10. Signature and attestation is not required on the photograph.
  11. Incomplete / incorrect applications are liable to be rejected without any notice to the candidate.
  12. Any application received after the last date shall not be accepted; whatever may be the cause.
  13. The application form is said to be complete only if it is enclosed with all the documents mentioned below and after verification of the same submitted in person / speed post / courier. Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test, UPCMET 2015


The Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test (UPCMET) is conducted by the U.P. Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA) for admission to MBBS courses offered by its member colleges. The UPUMCWA is a consortium of unaided non minority medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. UPCMET 2015 will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on 30 May 2015. Test centres will be available in 17 cities. The exam tests for admission to MBBS programs in member colleges for the academic session 2015 to 2016. UPUMCWA holds the test.
MBBS
An MBBS is a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. It is the basic and most popular [undergraduate] medical degree pursued in India because it allows one to go on to get a Masters degree in a large variety of specializations (i.e. General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Radio-diagnosis, Radiotherapy, Obstetrics and Gynecology, etc), and is therefore extremely competitive. The length of the program is on average 5 and a half years, of which the first 3 semesters, lasting 18 months each, are spent on classes, while the last year is dedicated to the compulsory rotating internship. The cost for an MBBS varies depending on the institute, and ranges from Rs 332 per year for a local student to Rs 970 per year for an outstation student (from All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS), to Rs 10,000-12,000 per year (for JIPMER), up to even 2-3 lakhs (not including housing and cost of food) per year (for a private college).
UPCMET 2015 Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates should be citizens of India and at least 17 years of age as of 31 December 2015.
  • Applicants should have passed the Uttar Pradesh Board’s 10+2 exam, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), ISC or equivalent from a recognized university or board. Candidates must have English as a subject, with at least 50 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together (40 percent for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes candidates).
  • If you are appearing for the 10+2 exam in 2015, you are also eligible provided that you pass the exam with the appropriate marks.
UPCMET 2015 Exam Pattern
The detailed exam pattern for UPCMET 2015 (conducted for admission to MBBS programs in medical colleges which are members of the UPUMCWA):
The exam has two papers with five total subjects. Paper I has a total of 100 marks and Paper II has 50 marks. Combined maximum marks for the test are 200 (not 250) since Paper II is just a qualifying paper and won’t be considered for merit.

For each wrong answer, one quarter of a mark (1/4) will be deducted.
The cut-off marks for Paper I are 50 percent (for SC/ST/OBC candidates 40 percent) and for Paper II are also 50 percent (40 percent for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Merit is determined from Paper I marks.
UPCMET 2015 Exam Syllabus
UPCMET 2015 Physical and Biological Sciences Syllabus
Paper I consists of two sections, Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences. Section A includes Physics and Chemistry, and Section B includes Zoology and Botany. The Physics section includes basic concepts such as mechanics, measurement and kinematics and wave motion and sound. You will need to be aware of relevant laws and formulas. Other topics that are included in this section of the test are heat (thermal conduction, first law of thermodynamics, thermometry), light (chromatic aberration, refraction at spherical surfaces, wave nature of light), electricity, electromagnetism and general properties of matter (kinetic theory, kinetic models for liquids and solids). More advanced topics in this section are nuclear physics, radiation and atomic physics and electron physics. The Chemistry section covers basic chemistry concepts, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and physical chemistry.
Section B’s first section is Zoology, which covers general topics such as evolution, organic evolution, animal physiology and classification. Topics in the Type and Specific Study section include arthropods, protozoa, porifera and annelida. Other topics you should be familiar with for the Botany section are the cell, ecology, cell differentiation, the study of life from angiospermic plant to seed formation and photosynthesis.

UPCMET 2015 English Syllabus
Paper II, General English, is a qualifying paper. For this part of the test, you should be familiar with the basics of correct English such as spelling, grammar, prepositions, simple tenses and conjunctions. Types of questions in this section include sentence completion, fill in the blank, comprehension and word substitution. For further details on questions in this section, see the UPCMET syllabus.

  • The application form for the test is available  The completed application form or confirmation page (for online applications) should be sent by speed post to “The Coordinator, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, Rampur Garden, Bareilly-243 001.” A demand draft of Rs. 1,000 should be included drawn in favor of UPUMCWA, payable at Bareilly. Your form must reach the coordinator by30 April 2015.
  • You may also obtain the application by post or in person from participating member colleges. Mail a demand draft of Rs. 1,050 in favor of UPUMCWA payable at Bareilly with two self-addressed stickers to “The Coordinator UPCMET – 2015, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, Rampur Garden, Bareilly 234 001.” Participating member colleges have the information brochure and application form available upon Rs. 1,000 cash payment.
  • You can also download the form from website and send the completed application along with a demand draft of 1000.
  • The application form should be filled in with capital letters using a black ballpoint pen. The form allows you to pick an exam centre that cannot be changed later. Include a copy of your 10+2 mark sheet, your 10th standard certificate, any other applicable certificates and four copies of a recent passport-sized photograph.

As per the provision under section 39 of the PWD Act, 1995 , 3% of the seats are reserved for Persons with Disability (PWD)/Differently Abled (DA) candidates. The three categories of disability are:- (a) low-vision/blindness, (b) Hearing impairment, and (c) locomotors disability/cerebral palsy. This provision is applicable if a candidate suffers from any of the listed disabilities to the extent of not less than 40% as certified by a Medical Authority as prescribed and explained in the said Act. The candidates belonging to categories for which seats are reserved need to note and read the eligibility requirements carefully before applying. General Information Regarding UPPGMET-2015
  • UPPGMET-2015 will be organised for admission in MD/MS/ Post Graduate Diploma Courses for Academic Session 2015-16 in unaided minority as well as non minority member medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
  • The entrance examination will be held on 10th January, 2015, Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
  • There will be a total no. of 250 objective type multiple choice questions as per the guideline of syllabus given in the appendix of this brochure.
  • The UPPGMET-2015 will consists of a maximum of 250 marks.
  • Minimum cut-off pass percentage of marks in UPPGMET-2015 shall be 50% and merit shall be determined on the basis of marks secured in UPPGMET-2015.
  • There will be negative marks of 1/4 for each wrong answer.
  • More than one answer marked in OMR answer sheet will also be considered as wrong answer.
  • Only Black Ball Point Pen shall be used for answering on OMR answer sheet as per direction even in the OMR Sheet.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have completed M.B.B.S. course from an institute duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
The Internship of the candidate must be completed before April 01, 2015.
The candidate must have his/her registration with State Medical Council / Medical Council of India.
For NRI / Foreign candidates, the above mentioned criteria must be approved by the Medical 5 Council of India.

Downloaded from the website and after printing the same on A-4 sheet, such applications are to be completely filled and sent along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 3500/= in favor of “UPUMCWA” payable at “Bareilly (U.P.)” to the “Coordinator – UPPGMET 2015, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, RampurGarden, Bareilly – 243 001”.
    3. Completely filled Online through the link provided on the website (along with uploading of the signature, recent color passport size photograph, and Left hand thumb impression). A Demand Draft of Rs. 3500/= in favor of “UPUMCWA” payable at “Bareilly (U.P.)” is to be attached with the Confirmation Page after completely filling the form online. The No. of the Demand Draft must be filled at the designated place while filling the form online. Thereafter, the Confirmation Page can be generated and the print of the same is to be sent through Speed Post to the “Coordinator – UPPGMET 2015, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, Rampur Garden, Bareilly – 243 001”.

If any document/declaration submitted by the candidate is found to be false at any stage his/her candidature will be cancelled and he/she may be liable for prosecutions under law. In case of any legal dispute the jurisdiction will be limited to Bareilly Courts only.
  • The candidates are also instructed to note the Application Form No. and to keep photocopy of submitted application form along with proof of having submitted the application form for any future reference.

AFMC & AFMS 2015 Admission Notification

Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has published a notice about admission into Post-graduate medical courses in Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) or other AFMS training institutions for year 2015. Admission will be based on scores of AIPGMEE 2015 exam.
Those candidates who want to apply to AFMC & AFMS institutes have to register and apply online on their official website http://www.afmcdg1d.gov.in/. Those candidates who do not apply online on given website will not be considered for admission.
The process will be applicable to candidates belonging to Priority III (Para Mil / Govt of India sponsored candidates), Priority IV (Ex- SSC candidates), and Priority V (Civilian candidates). Candidates applying online will be eligible for a PG seat to any AFMS institution as per conditions enumerated in the information bulletin which will be made available on the website tentatively by First week of December.

We commissioned a good modern hospital the Ujjain Charitable Trust Hospital with sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic equipments thirteen years back. The hospital is having 400 beds. Department of Community Medicine is one of the best department of India. Department of Community Medicine has developed Palwa Field Laboratory for Socio- economic and longitudinal demographic data base creation and research work in field. This field laboratory, which covers 60 villages with 12,000 households, is our special achievement that shall develop over the years. It shall provide dependable data in health care and its delivery in years to come. Such Field Laboratory is hardly available anywhere in India or South Asia.
Community Medicine Department has carried out a study specifically aiming at identifying and locating private health care providers of Ujjain district to study their distribution and to develop strategy to seek their participation for more effective and better health care provision to extend the benefits of national health programmes to the under privileged people in urban and rural areas. Their distribution in the area has been displayed with the help of Geographical Information System (GIS) for the first time in the world. Department of Community Medicine has close ties with Nordic School of Public Health; Gotenberg, Sweden and Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden and Faculty exchange for specific projects between them has become a regular feature .

They are involved with "An international multicentric trial for evaluation of four drug fixed dose combined tablet in the initial intensive phase of chemotherapy supported by IAULTD, Paris and are also involved in various projects associated with Gender and Tuberculosis, Treatment outcomes, cost effectiveness with Community Medicine department. The department has fiber optic bronchoscopy facility and has installed Body Box PFT Machine for the first time in M.P.
