HALAWAR MEDICAL COLLEGE ADMISSION
Jhalawar Medical College, Jhalawar was established by forming a society by the government of Rajasthan, which was registered as Jhalawar Hospital and Medical College society, Jhalawar at Jaipur on 8Th august 2007. The following is the governing board -

The executive committee for the day to day functioning constitute the following -
1- District Collector , Jhalawar, Rajasthan - Chairman
2- Principal Medical Officer , Jhalawar - Member Secretary
3- Dean / Principal Medical College , Jhalawar - Member
4- Chief Medical & Health Officer Jhalawar (CM&HO) - Member
The new Hospital and College started functioning from 27th March 2008. The first batch was admitted in 2008 through RPMT. There are 100 seats out of which 15 seats were reserved NRI students, 35 seats are of high tuition fee as per Bhargav commission constituted by Honorable Rajasthan High Court for regulation of fees for medical studies. The remaining 50 seats are government seat with fee structure as other government Medical Colleges in Rajasthan. From 2009, 15% of government seats are filled by AIPMT.
The total intake of students is 100 per year. The break up is -
35 seats - (Government) admitted through RPMT
15 seats - (Government) admitted through AIPMT
35 seats - (High tuition fee as per Bhargav comm.) admitted through RPMT
15 Seats - (NRI Seat) Direct admitted through Personal interview
