Medical College & Hospital is located near Bairagarh on Bhopal-
Indore highway spread over 35 acres of land. The campus is 10 kms from
Airport & 14 Kms from Railway Station. Medical College building has a
built up area of 21534 Sq.m. and Hospital building area is 37465 Sq.m.
The residential and other buildings are spread in 22155.1 sq.m. The
campus has 700 KVA electrical connection with the power backup by
DG-Sets. All the Non-Clinical & Paramadical departments are located in the college building,have well equipped laboratories, museums, demo rooms, departmental library cum seminar rooms, research lab & faculty chambers. Each department has two demonstration room of capacity of 75 seats each and provided with audio-visual teaching aids. The college has got boys & girls common rooms with lockers & facilities of Indoor games. Two number of lecture theatres, each of 180 seats is functional along with the audio-visual aids. The college has a cafeteria for the students and Outdoor and Indoor games facilities are avaiilable to students & staff. The college has all the infrstructure, equipments & staff as per the requirment of Medical Council Of India. Residential Facilities are available to the teaching faculty, Non-Teaching Staff, Nursing Staff & residents besides the boys & girls hostels with 128 boys and 128 girls. The Hostel has visitor rom, wardan room, TV & Internet facilities and in-house mess. Indoor games facility and gymnasium is also available in each hostel. The outdoor games availble in the campus are cricket, football, vollyball, badminton etc. & Indoor games viz. Chess, Carrom & Table Tannis are available. All the medical facilities are provided to students & staff by the attached hospital. |
| Courses Offered: |
The College presently offers
under graduate course for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
(MBBS). With great infrastructural, intellectual and academic
facilities as per the Medical Council of India makes this institute one
of the best place for the development of medical students. All necessary
guidelines are implemented for achieving the zero ragging status and
“teacher guardian” programs are developed for the psychological support
of the students.
