About Us :

Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College & Hospital (DUPMC) was started by Godavari Foundation in 2008 to impart quality education in the field of Medical Science. This is one of the flagship institutions of the Godavari Foundation. It started functioning from the academic year 2008-09. The College is recognized by Medical Council of India & is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. It is the first medical college to be located in Jalgaon District & is spread over an area of Over 33 acres. The Present Premise comprises of College Building, Teaching Hospital Building of 500 Bed Capacity, Staff Quarters, Separate Hostels for Boys & Girls, Play Ground, Library, Canteen & other amenities.Each Department consists of a well qualified staff, well equipped Practical 7 Research Laboratories, well set up Museums with catalogues, Dissection Hall of Anatomy Department & Demonstration Room. POST GRADUATE PROGRAMMES MBBS DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES ANATOMY     PHYSIOLOGY           BIOCHEMISTY          PATHOLOGY            MICROBIOLOGY      COMMUNITY MEDICINE Eligibility : MBBS : Any candidate who is a Citizen of India and has pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or an equivalent Examination with a minimum of 50% of marks for Open Category students and 40% marks for reserved category student is eligible to appear in the common entrance test conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra/Association of Private Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of Maharashtra. Method of selection of candidates: 85 % of the candidates are selected strictly on the basis of the merit of the common entrance test conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra. 15% NRI students are selected on the basis of the merit of 10+2 examination or equivalent examination after obtaining equivalence from Association of Universities of India. Placement : Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College has excellent placement record as most of the students of this college got placed in good or reputated organizations according to their skills or eligibility.
