M.D. Agadtantra or Doctor of Medicine in Agadtantra is a postgraduate Ayurveda course. Agadtantra deals with toxins; it mentions the ways of getting rid of poisoning in the body. During the course students are introduced to many types of poisons found both in plants and animals; their diagnosis; treatments and other related fields. The duration of the course is two years but it depends only on different institutes and may be more or less than this.
