- The candidates of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for the 15% All India Quota Seats since these states had opted out of this scheme from the beginning.
- If any applicant belonging to these three states wants to claim eligibility to the 15% All India Quota Seats, then the applicant will have to submit an online Self Declaration which will be generated and printed on the confirmation page for the record and to is presented in the counselling.
- Verification of the online Self Declaration will be done during the counselling process and if it is found to be false, the admission of the candidates will be cancelled and he/she may have to go through criminal proceedings.
- If all eligibility criteria of NEET 2017 are fulfilled then candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir will be allowed to sit for NEET to get admission through the State Quota.
